Add find my phone app

I had a Garmin Vivoactive 3 before the Versa 2 and used the "find my phone" feature at least weekly! I'm going to be lost without it. Please, please add this with a software update!

I am sorry for the delay in respond. I am glad to let you know that "Find my Phone" is available for Versa 2. You just need to do the following to add it:

1. With your watch nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab   > your profile picture > your device image.
2. Tap Apps > All Apps.
3. Browse the available apps. When you find the one you want to install, tap it.
4. Tap Install.
5. Some apps require certain permissions in order to work properly, such as access to the internet or the ability to run in the background. Review these requested permissions and tap Install to add the app to your watch. Note that some permissions can cause your phone to use more data. If you decide at a later time that you don’t want an app to have certain permissions, you can adjust these permissions.

I have a fitbit versa and have bought the find my phone app For the fitbit to use with my iphone. This app literally does not work. It has never even worked once. Disappointing  that fitbit still does not have this feature

My Girlfriend and I both have Fitbit Versa 2 watches. Mine is on Firmware 35.71.6.19. Hers is on Firmware 35.70.8.0 . I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Phone on Android 10 and She has a LG Stylo Phone on Android version 8 1.0 . I have Find My Phone app on my Versa 2 . But whenever we search the App Store to add it to her watch the app does not show up. Is there a reason we can't find it for hers ?

Just received a versa 2 as a gift. Trying to add the find my phone app. Won’t let me install! keeps telling me to update my phone and app. Both are up to date. I have tried restarting the phone and watch. I have tried restarting Bluetooth. And I have deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing works.

@RealityCheckGA   The Find My Phone is part of the Versa 2 firmware update.  It isn't something you can download from the app store.  She doesn't have it because she doesn't have the current firmware.

@Twinkle1029   You quite likely don't have the current firmware either.  The current firmware was released after your Versa 2 was manufactured.  I think your update will appear in a day or two.

Fitbit rolls out firmware updates progressively.  It's not by country or region or anything.  They just show up.   @RealityCheckGA Even if you and your girlfriend got your Versa 2s at the same time, it doesn't mean you will get the firmware on the same day.

I now have the Fitbit "Find my Phone" app as a result of the latest update.  Works better than the 3rd party app I used before.

• Will the did my phone app work with the charge 4 as well? I have a versa but it’s on its last legs. I love the functionality of the charge 4 but I NEED the find my phone app that I use with my versa. Would I be able to switch and still use that app? Thank you for your time!

I just got a new versa 2 after my last one quit on me. I had the find my phone on the old versa but can't get it on the new versa. Literally a day apart. 

Has this feature been removed?
