Has anyone managed to add music to their Fitbit Versa 2.
We have tried everything and nothing works, we have spent more than 6 hours without success.
We wrote to Fitbit who were quick to respond but nothing worked.
It maybe that the Fitbit App has not been updated to accommodate the Versa 2.
Interested to know if anyone in Australia has managed to get this to work.
We are on the verge of returning the phone which we don't want to do as the fitness side of things is exactly what we were looking for.
Cheers.

Hi, I had the exact same issue with you. I am currently using a Versa 2. It is really frustrating to see that the Fitbit app on my computer constantly shows "looking for your watch" even after I tried waiting for almost an hour to see if it connects. Pretty sure that my watch and computer were connected to the same wifi though. For your information, the connection actually did worked once. It was when I first transferred music into my Versa 2 watch. Then for the second time, it just wont let me do so. I was really looking forward in transferring more music into my Versa 2. Do anyone know what exactly is the problem here and how to do I solve it?

Is Fitbit Connect still available in 2022? I've tried a few links including the one above but they give an error. Now there's only the Fitbit desktop app but that one does not sync music with the Versa 2 (I've read several posts recommending to download the older Firbit Conecct app).
Thanks in advance.

Hello @Chalateco and welcome to the Community. Several users who have and use Fitbit Connect to transfer personal music received emails from Fitbit saying that this feature is being discontinued in October.
I didn’t check the previous posts for links, but did you use https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/setup
It looks active. A different user recommended saving your favorites on your device before it is disconnected.

I must say how greedy Fitbit is that they took a very convenient feature away from their customers, which was the reason customers purchased their items. Now we not only have to pay to use a subscription, but Pandora you can do playlist and Spotify you need your phone. Is Fitbit really that desperate for money that they need to take away the feature of allowing customers the convenience of downloading their own music to their Fitbits? I mean did it really hurt your company. If your goal was too lose customers I must stay you did a magnificent job at that. Even better, it’s says it will disable the feature after October 13, 2022 and it’s September 15,2022 and you are no longer able to use the feature. WOW! You’re company is amazing at forces your customers to switch to Apple. Apple thanks you for the business! Great job Fitbit! I’m sure someone in upper management received a bonus for this genius idea.

I couldn't connect to my computer to download some new songs. I used to have it several times, but now it doesn't. At first I thought it was a problem with the Internet. Therefore, after reading reviews, I replaced it. It was a great solution, but I couldn't download music anymore

@jjessj18 I'm sorry, but Fitbit deactivated that feature in October. You can continue to listen to your current music, but you can't change your playlists. I'm sorry that you missed the announcement. 9to5google
