I have a Versa 2 and since covid i have been aqua jogging. My feet hit pools bottom and i move my arms. Tracker doesn't track steps. Is there something i should adjust? Versa travks pool laps just fine!

Hi @SunsetRunner these are wrist based devices, so you need to move your hands while you walk. Try moving your arms around while aqua jogging and see if it works.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for me. I pool run, making motions similar to an elliptical machine, with my arms pumping back and forth. The difference between running in the pool and running on land is the additional resistance in the pool. Unfortunately, the fitbit charge 3 is inconsistent in reporting results. For example, last week, I ran 120 laps in the pool. The fitbit showed 7500 steps. Yesterday, I did the same. The fitbit showed 3200 steps. It is discouraging. I'm wondering if the water is interfering with the arm read.

Hi @liljill8 check the sensitivity of your Fitbit. Change the settings that the device is on your non-dominant hand and see if that makes a difference in the steps added. If it works for sleep sensitivity, it might work for your laps. Way to go on all those laps!
