Hi, I have had my versa 3 since July last year and love it. Since I started tracking I’ve always been on beta blockers. Recently I had to take a month break from the meds, and consequently my resting heart rate increased by roughly 10bpm. This obviously threw out all my target zones etc, and my history reads like I suddenly went ballistic with my normal routine! Now I’m back on the beta blockers and my bpm is back to what it was originally. Should I manually adjust my max rate - I understand from reading that beta blockers adjust bpm by about 20%. However since the majority of my history is based on being on them will it just reset itself over time? Right now my target zones etc are all out of whack! If I manually adjust my max heart rate, how would I know if I’m improving? Sorry so many questions…before I got my versa I was basically sedentary so it’s made a big difference to my life, and now I just want to keep improving:)

Hi @Moley66 Idont know the answer to your query and there probably isn't a 'right' answer anyway. But I think you are right in saying that if you manually reset you HR zones then you won't see the normalisation of your HR as the meds Kick in. My thought would be to just let the watch do its thing and the levels etc should go back to your normal over time. Let us know what happens.

@Moley66 I think I'm with @NellyG on this. If you didn't have a custom zone initially when you were on your medication and you didn't set one it when you were off your medication, then just let it settle out on it's own now that you are back on your medication.
