Edit 3: It took over 3 hours, but I've at least managed to recover my watch on my phone and download a watch face...

HI there @GenieFish, great to see you are visiting the Fitbit Community! My apologies for the late response and I saw you edited your post from the original issue you mentioned you were experiencing.
I'm glad to read you were able to recover your Smartwatch. I'm wondering what were the steps you tried to find the solution. I'm sure other users will found useful your response.
