Aftermarket band for Fitbit Versa

I am curious if anybody had tried a 3rd party band yet? It appears a 22mm band and lock pin will work. Can anybody verify that? Thanks.

I haven't received my Versa, yet, but I've purchased "generic" bands through Amazon for all of my Fitbits.  The look and feel are about the same on the silicone ones I bought on Amazon - and honestly, you barely tell the difference between the name brand and knockoff.  HOWEVER, I did notice with the "generic "Alta bands, the place where you clasp the band to the tracker, on the generic ones, there is rust - and it stained my tracker's metal an orangey-brown color (the discoloration is only visible when you take the straps off the tracker).  NO rust at all on my Fitbit bands even after all the exposure to water. The rust formed due to me rinsing my straps after use - especially after a sweaty day.

I have a mesh strap I also got on Amazon with a magnetic closure for my Alta that I love.  It was cheap and so the color is peeling/chipping off, but I am ok with that since I'm upgrading to the Veras anyways.  I do plan purchasing a mesh strap for my Versa (which will be arriving on the 10th!!) through Amazon since I don't really like the closure on the Fitbit brand and not too keen on the color choices.  I know a couple others who have bought aftermarket bands and had great success - just read the reviews before you buy so that you have a better idea of what you're gonna get in terms of quality, etc.

If the Versa has the metal join (strap to tracker) like the Alta does, I probably will get a 3rd silicone strap from Fitbit when the additional colors come out in May if I should need anymore.  Since my silicone bands get "washed" in water, I want to prevent that rust from forming.

Hi @Bobled Amazon has a good selection HERE. I have had good luck with bands from 3rd party vendors, but they are not all created equal. Read reviews and make sure you post your own feedback too. Likely there aren't many reviews yet as the Versa is so new and many people haven't even started purchasing extra bands.

I am using this

Love it so far. Much softer and not as stiff as the stock band.

I sure hope the aftermarket bands work as I have ordered a few on Amazon. I wasn't sure how I was going to to like the charcoal band that comes with the graphite tracker, but it does look very nice in person.

Hi everyone! Thank you for your input regarding wristband options for your new Versa watch. Happy to see many getting excited about their new device! I would like to encourage anyone here to post pictures and their thoughts about the item. Since these are third party bands I can't comment on their quality, durability or materials used but you who bought them can.

@KidKreole this is interesting, I personally tried the black and pink (yes pink Robot surprised, it was there so I tried it hahaha) and felt them really soft. Take into consideration that I have been wearing a Charge 2 for a year and a half and the wristband feels more stiff (I do like that and it isn't extreme it is just more stiff than what I experienced with the Versa wristbands).

Thank you all for participating and hope to see many pictures in this thread!

I have tried 3 different knockoff bands and I can tell everyone they are trash. Where they lock in in the band the material is hard and brittle and breaks eazy and you stand a chance of loosing your Fitbit when it comes off and you won't even know it till you feel no weight on your wrist or see it gone. So save yourself a few $$ and get the real bands
