Hi there @Shawnzy, good to see you are participating in our Fitbit Community! I would like to know more about the issue you are experiencing?  To start with, how it goes so far? Is the issue still persisting?

Do you have your headphones pair to your phone or directly to the Fitbit Versa? What is the source of music while you are experiencing this issue, is the Versa or your phone?

Is it possible that your phone is interfering with your Airpods if they are connected to your Fitbit Versa. If it so, go to your Bluetooth settings and look in the list if your Airpods are as "Connected". Is this is the status, tap and disconnect them.

For more information, review this help article: How do I connect Bluetooth audio devices to my Fitbit watch?

See you later and hope this helps.

I have the Airpods paired directly to the versa marked them as disconnect from my phone. i am using them with Pandora plus app for music.

I did have the flyer headphones work just fine with versa Pandora music but had to return them cuz they hurt my ears. too big

I am not connected to my phone only versa. I am using the Pandora app for music. I have disconnected from the phone through Bluetooth settings. It is still an issue tried them again tonight. Fine for three blocks than crackle and nothing no sound reconnect go for a block same thing all over again.

Update: I was able to run for 2.5 miles with pandora music, I did half to run in silence since the music stopped but it did restart and started playing again. Does anyone know if it is because of other wifi or homes bluetooth interference that I am passing? I don't have my phone's bluetooth or wifi with so it isn't me. The loudness of my headphones is random and i can't control it with the + - buttons.

I have the exact same problem. It is so frustrating!  I hope someone has a fix so I can continue to run without my phone.

I am having this same issue.

I am going to try the deezer app and see if it works out better.

Seems to happen mostly when there is high traffic

Did Deezer work better?

Nope, same issue. Whenever a car drives by with a strong signal like a truck or group of cars it cuts out. Pressing pause/unpause fixes it until next radio dense area, which could be a minute or a few seconds

I have not tried Deezer with the Fitbit. I have thousands of apply downloaded music on my iPhone plus I use Apple Music and Pandora. I should not have to be limited to only Deezer. I know this sounds bratty but I purchased the Versa because they said I could downloaded my personal music to the app and listen while I run without my phone.

You can put Mp3 files directly in using the PC app for fitbit,
there is also streaming services.
It works fine, but the issue here is airpod compatibility

The music Pandora on the versa is working great with my Airpods, it crackles sometimes but it doesn't cut out completely any longer. I notice it works better if I run with my hands closer to my ears which I do anyway.
