It would be really great if my alarm would work when the Versa is locked.
I take it off to do something and put the watch back on without unlocking the screen, or it loses contact with my skin because I'm wearing it loose overnight, and then the alarm doesn't work.

This issue has been driving me crazy and it wasn't until I read your post that I realised what the problem was. All I knew was that the alarm worked most of the time but not in the morning when I needed it most. I hope Fitbit can fix the issue, in the meantime I'll have to take the lock off. For me a reliable alarm is more important than anything else.

This has been raised before when it was first noted on the Ionic. Unfortunately there hasn’t been much of a user voice to get it changed. Currently only 9 votes in the Feature Suggestions post here. Given the propensity of the Ionic and Versa to lock themselves, the current setup is daft.

I was worried I’d gotten used to it and was just sleeping through! Yayyy. Annoying but at least there’s a bandaid fix until Fitbit get this addressed.

Hi @jj6307 and welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community @Skstarbuck and @Dorza007. I appreciate your insight on this subject too @SunsetRunner.
Thank you for your feedback regarding the alarms not working when the device is locked. A recommendation for these scenarios in the meantime, would be to set your Versa to enable the Pin code for Fitbit Pay only.
You must enter your PIN code at least once a day. Your watch prompts you to enter your PIN code based on your device lock setting:
To change the device lock setting:
Now If this is something in which you're interested, I would like to invite you to create a separate suggestion for the Fitbit Versa in our Feature Suggestions board. Our product team looks forward to reading and incorporating your suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps, this may take a while but creating separate ideas helps us to easily identify and prioritize future implementations for our products.
See you around and keep sharing your feedback.

I tried this but I only have either enable or disable on the device lock and no second option
