Alexa app on my Versa 2 doesn't understand what I'm saying

My alexa on my Fitbit versa two has been working fine for the month and now it’s working strange. When I ask her a simple question such as what a word means she will respond with completely random subjects. Today, she told me 7 ways to get a job after getting out of jail. When I try and set a timer with her she tells me ‘how to study 5 minutes before a test’. If it’s not a completely random answer, she just won’t respond at all or say something ‘Hi! ask how me to do anything’ When i ask her to simply set a timer she says exactly this,  ‘this article doesn’t have a summary to play please say ‘NEXT’ to get to the next step.’

Does anyone know how to fix? I am quite dissatisfied Alexa has been working great for me in the past.

Have you recently switched to the Google Assisting while using Alexa? Note that you can have only 1 active voice assistant at a time. To switch to a different voice assistant, first disconnect your active voice assistant. For more information, see How do I disconnect my voice assistant?
