Alexa isn't working on my Versa 2

Please please please….Can someone help!!!! I have a Fitbit versa 2 with a built in Alexa. When I click on Alexa it says ‘ask me something’. But when I speak she doesn’t come up with anything on the screen. I know she can’t speak because my watch doesn’t have a speaker(well I don’t think so lol). Would really appreciate some help! Thanks

Hi, no I haven’t. I’ve been told many things to try but still no luck. It’s a bit disappointing as obviously this was a present from my daughter and cost her a lot of money. I also would like to use Alexa.
