Alexa still not working on my Versa 2

So I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for you guys to fix the problem with Alexa on the Versa 2 and the fact that it keeps disconnecting from the iPhone app and you can't use Alexa on the Versa until you manually start the Fitbit app again on the iPhone.

I have been waiting for almost a year for you guys to fix this and still nothing. You literally ripped me off since that was the main reason I bought this device.  I literally use it to tell time and track sleep and it's impossible to get a refund now since I waited so long for you people to get your act together.

Hi there @satoshin, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that Alexa is still not working on your Versa 2. We acknowledge the limitation we have on our part particularly on what you have experienced. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services.

Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps. Then, if the tracker is deemed defective we review eligibility using the one year warranty option.

Regarding your question about using voice assistant. See our help article on troubleshooting Amazon Alexa on your Fitbit device: How do I use a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch?

About the syncing difficulties between your Versa 2 and your iOS device, please try removing the Bluetooth connection between your phone and your watch:

*On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.
*Open the Fitbit app and set up the connection again. You should receive a message asking you to allow your Versa 2 to pair with your phone. Tap Pair to approve the request.

Sync your Versa 2 automatically when you open the Fitbit app or manually by tapping your profile picture > your Versa 2 tile > Sync Now.

If your watch doesn't sync, follow the troubleshooting steps provided here: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

I have the same issue. The Alexa seems to only work sometimes.
It never works when I’m away from home. It used to when I first got the watch. Now it really seams worthless.  It’s very frustrating when I’m at the store! I have to tell me husband to just text me the shopping list because I can’t get the Alexa to connect outside of my house.
