Alexa stopped working on my Versa 2.  Get this error for any command I give Alexa from my Versa 2:

I didn't quite understand you, sorry about that. There's not any audio currently playing. The newest episode is, told 0499 - Apple Watch series 6 and SE, iPad Air, Apple Fitness+, iOS 14. Would you like to listen to it?

I've tried unlinking from Alexa, resetting Versa 2 & phone, & deleting & reinstalling app. Nothing fixes this.

Hi there @irishgirlce, thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that Alexa stopped working on your Versa 2, I understand where your concern is coming from. Thanks for the details provided in your post and for your efforts in trying to fix the issue, I'll be glad to continue to assist you.

If you recently went swimming or got your watch wet, there might be water in the microphone. Wait a few minutes for the microphone to dry, then try again to use your voice assistant.

Please know that he microphone in your watch only turns on when you’re using a feature that requires your voice, such as a voice assistant. The microphone turns off when the voice assistant responds, when you close the voice assistant, or when your watch’s screen turns off.

Ok. I finally got Alexa to work again. I answered YES to the question “Would you like to listen to it?” This seems to have cleared the problem.
