Alexa has been working fine on my Versa 2 for 9 months and now when trying to use says “Set Up Alexa, complete setup in Fitbit mobile app and sync device”
Alexa is already set up in the Fitbit app, so there is no set up to complete and it’s synced. The only way I have found to resolve this is to log out of Alexa on the Fitbit app and then log back in. But I don’t want to do this everyday, especially when it’s been working fine.
can anyone help please?

Hi there @Mlversa, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that Alexa won't stay synced to your Versa 2, I understand where your concern is coming from. Thanks for the details shared in your post and for letting me know the only way it would sync. I'll be glad to help you.
If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend taking a look at this help article: What should I do if my voice assistant doesn't work on my Fitbit smartwatch?
Let me know how it goes.

I have just got my Versa 2 and mine is doing the same! Wonder if it is a software version bug, if you said you previously had no issues. What software is your watch on? When was this software update applied? Did it happen after the update?
Mine is on Version 71.6.19

I’m also on 71.6.19, but I’m unsure when it was updated. I was thinking something must have changed, after months working ok. Also the app tells me that I’m logged in so the watch instructions of complete set up doesn’t make sense

I'm having this same issue. It worked fine before, but hasn't worked for several weeks now. I logged out and logged back into Alexa in the FitBit app. I shutdown and restarted the watch. It still just acts like it doesn't hear me.

It’s definitely a software bug. Fitbit - you need to look into this and fix the bug in your software and release an update to fix!

I find I have to be right next to my phone, with the app open, for it to work. Which is kind of useless in that case I can just use Siri!

I have to set up Alexa in Fitbit app multiple times a day. i can't believe it works so poorly. It hasn't worked right in months. What now?

My Fitbit Versa 2 has been doing the same thing for about a month now, it is a pain to have to set Alexa up several times per day. Also, my messages (from my android phone) are no longer being shown on my Fitbit either. Has anyone found a solution or workaround? Thanks!

Exact same thing with mine - not showing msgs from Android phone and the Alexa problem. I hope it's fixed soon.

I have to keep setting up alexa daily. This is ridiculous. Please fix!
