All seems good now -New update to app as well

I have been following the many posts (and have posted as well) about the failing syncing/pairing, GPS function and notifications as I have had the same issue.  I noticed the app was updated July 13 which corresponds to the start of my issues.  Oddly enough (and thankfully) mine has started working again.  At least for the last two days straight.  Exercises seem to be recording correctly as well as receiving text email and phone call notifications.

I went to see if the app was updated.  It was not, but there is a pending app update that I need to do.  The only thing not working right now is updating the weather on the watch face. Not sure if I want to update the app yet and upset the apple cart.  Hope others are beginning to see improvements with their versa.

@CLTMTE, welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community!

Thank you for sharing your feedback on how the app is behaving with your Versa. It is great to know that the app is working fine. Regarding the weather app, open the app on the Versa and leave it open then start syncing your Versa with your phone. That's what has worked for me personally.

Let me know how it goes.

Yes that does work and seems simpler or more effective since some things do sync and others don't. I have had two drops in connection since that post.  A big improvement over what I was experiencing.  Still needs tweaking somewhere in the system.  For me I have noticed the following

When I realize I am not getting notifications I go to the app and most of the time the "all day sync" somehow got turned off.  Turn it on and I get the spinning wheel by that and the "notifications" on the menu. Then the "versa needs to pair..." message. Go to settings on the phone and it says the watch is connected.  On the app dashboard it appears to be connected and sync.  Heart rate working. Steps look accurate etc.  But then I have to start th reboot. Process.  Sorry for being verbose.  Just want to provide as much detail as I can to help the app developers.

Thanks
