Fitbit, please allow disabling of the pause/resume feature during workouts. Wearing the watch on the other wrist or changing to manual startup mode do not fix the situation. Half of the week's Exercise metrics are wrong because my sleeve brushes against the screen. The premium membership with tracking is useless otherwise and not worth the price.

Hi @Amne - on some exercises there are Settings for the exercise, swipe up the exercise before starting and disable auto pause. That may help.
Putting the watch in sleep mode while exercising also may help because it disables screen wake and notifications from waking the display. You can also set it to button only if you want to receive notifications.
Swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings to easily make the change.
It is more difficult to stop the button getting actioned accidentally.

Hi there, @Amne. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand how you must be feeling.
As you mentioned, you are unintentionally pressing the button on your watch when you bend your wrist. This may happen during activities such as a workout that require you to move your wrist a lot. Try wearing your watch higher on your wrist to avoid hitting the button. For tips on how to wear your watch, see How do I wear my Fitbit device?
Nevertheless, I do recommend following the tips and recommendations provided by @Guy_. For more information, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Hi Guy,
Thank you for your tips! The walk exercise does not allow disabling of the pause workout option.
It seems to me that a wristwatch worn on the wrist will always be touching a sleeve and if the screen is so sensitive it stops recording your workout information, fitbit needs to update the system to allow easy disabling of the pause feature for all types of exercise, especially for walking. Or, they need to allow you to edit the mileage and time on your exercise reports.
