Out of warranty and stoped working a little over a year and they suggest I buy I new one I will never buy a Fitbit Versa without an extended warranty after it just stopped working black screen nothing not charging does not turn on and can not be fixed !

I bought mine a few years ago and I've run into the exact same issue. I do not buy warranties normally and now I am kicking myself for not purchasing it for this device. Needless to say I am disappointed. Hoping I can get some sort of resolution with Fitbit.

Bare in mind if you purchase using a major credit card, very often that gets you an extra years coverage through the card provider. My daughters Charge 3 recently expired (6 months after Fitbit coverage ended) and after finding the sales receipt email and card statement online I have a claim in through Visa (signature card) for a refund. My bank didnt actually acknowledge the coverage, I had to go through the usa.visa.com site to get the right number to talk to about a claim. Mastercard and Amex offer similar perks.
