I'm trying to connect my firbit device through my phones Bluetooth, and I'm getting 'an app is needed to use this device'. It will not connect. It is frustrating, as it was working previously, it had just stopped functioning. I've followed all advice I can find, but cannot get it working. Please help.

Hi @Foxbabe - you can't connect the device in the phone Bluetooth settings. Just unpair it.
Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.
Make sure no other device oaded with the Fitbit App is running.
Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync. Normally this will create the Bluetooth entry automatically.
If this doesn't succeed, click the profile photo and then "+ Set up a Device" and replace.
If this is not working there may be a problem with the device.
