Hello,
Anyone know if there is a find my phone application in the works?
I personally think this would be a great addition.
Thanks!

Hi @theminders,
I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean an app on the Versa that would tell you when your phone is nearby?

Hi, I need the same. How can I find my lost phone in my house using the versa?

What was the answer, is there a way?

The answer is, that there is no way to do that currently with a Fitbit.
But you should feel free to propose it to Fitbit at the link below:

I don't understand why the fitbit2 had it and then they changed..i just bought fitbit charge3 and will return it if it doesn't have feature. My fitbit2 finally has stopped charging. .not even 2 years old.

I created an account here just to comment about this. I had bought 3 fitbit watches (Charge 3, Versa & Alta HR) on Black Friday day, intended to be Christmas gifts. I assumed that they would be able to help locate the phone they are connected to bluetooth on, as my wife and kids are always losing their phones. I was shocked to discover that these devices do not have this simple but IMO important feature! I will be returning them unopened. Very disappointed 😞

Coming from a two year old Garmin Vivo HR that stopped charging, I decided to pick up the Fitbit Versa as a replacement. Everything was great until I misplaced my phone and decided to use the "Find my phone feature"". I was surprised to read that despite Fitbit users requesting this feature for more than three years it has yet to make an appearance as a built-in feature or app in the Fitbit store. I have owned the Versa for 6 hours and overall like it. However this is a major deal breaker and it is going back tomorrow. Furthermore, there is something unsettling about a company that ignores is users request on such basic but useful feature. I guess it's back to Garmin.

That is horrible that the Versa doesn't have a find my phone app. I am VERY disappointed! Every other smart phone has It! 😐😐😐😐😐

The fact that sooo many people have complained about it and they haven't done anything tells us a lot about how much they value their customers.

I returned and sold all my Fitbit items and have loved my Apple watches for my wife and I ever since. As fitbit makes ZERO attempt to respond to these threads I would encourage you to exercise other vendor options

Typical corporation
value a small subset of internal PMs around what you “think” your customers want instead of going to the source (these threads) direct. In my opinion that is, as I have no way to know the inter workings of Fitbit and or its affiliates

After having 2 fitbits crash on me with no explanation I decided to try garmin. It lasted 1.5 years and went nuts. After being very upset with how garmin customer service handled this (after hours of email convo and instant chat that both gave me save script saying something was internally corrupt and i should send my $250+ watch to them along with an additional $120 and they would send me a refurbished version with only a 90 DAY WARRANTY) I decided to try fit bit again. I can't believe after all this time there is still no "find my phone" feature OR app. So...the Versa is returned and I have spent that last week losing the tan line on my wrist while I research different brands. I'm basically on the fence now on if I want to go back to Garmin or just get a cheap version (under $100) that does everything the more expensive brands do but with better reviews on how long they last! Listen to your customers fitbit ...or you will lose them!

There's a third party app called Find My Phone which works fine. $3.

I believe this is the app mentioned, search for "Find my phone" in the app gallery.

I really hope they do. A misplaced FB finder & phone finder would be nice! I did use 'Finder of Fitbit' (free) from Google apps to locate my band in my house, worked great! I'd feel more comfortable downloading an app like that from Fitbit instead of Google. I also wish we could weed out 'all paid' or 'all free' in the FB apps.
