Anyone else having trouble switching bands on the Versa?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just got a Versa Special edition a few weeks ago, and it came with the purple woven band which I love.  I went to change the band with the black band that came from Fitbit in the package and I can't for the life of me get the other end of the band with the pin in so that the pin will lock.  It's like the plastic part of the band is too thick by just a hair.

I've purchased a few bands from Fitbit and am waiting for them to arrive.  I hope I have better luck putting them on.

Note to product designers:  Change how the Versa bands are attached....loved how my Charge 2 bands attached and how the Garmin Fenix 5S Plus bands attach.....very simple.  Don't have to worry about pins falling out or band ends not going in once one pin is in place.  Very poor design!!!

Thank you for your response. I did follow the enclosed instructions on how to attach a new band to my Versa. The problem that I encountered was that it seems as though the plastic on the band is a tad too thick to fit in the opening that has been created for the band and pin assembly. I have no problem getting the first end of the pin in its hole. The other end of the band does not fit in the opening with the pin.

Very frustrating…….

Hi there, I have another problem. I would like to buy authentic fitbit band but I cannot find it in Thailand. It could be nice to buy it online.

My wrist is super small. OEM bands are too big for me.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @FreckleFighter. Sorry for the delayed response.

Thank you for thinking of buying Fitbit products. If you haven't done, you can try through our authorized retailer Amazon. To make sure you are purchasing authentic wristbands, check out the seller is Fitbit and the wristband has the Fitbit logo as shown in the screen shot below:
