I got a fitbit versa 3 in may of 2021. Very beginning of may 2022 my battery quit working. I woultn't even last 24hrs. Contacted fitbit. Was given either a 50% code to purchase a new one, or get a free replacement ( I assumed refurbished) I chose the free replacement. It only worked for about 6 weeks. After that it bounced around from the battery lasting anywhere from 1-3 days. Very inconsistent. So after about 3 weeks of it bouncing around it quit lasting for even 24hrs.I contacted fitbit again bc I was under the understanding that the refurbished one was on warranty as well. I got the email from them saying it is NOT on warranty and they offered me a 35% code. I feel like this is unacceptable. I was given a dud of a replacement. I asked for a 50% code and they refused. I realize duds happen with technology and I am even ok with not getting another free replacement but I do feel like I should receive a 50% code not 35%.
Anyone else have similar stories?

Hi @lindseycowan the warranty period is from the date of the original purchase, which you can read about here - click

Samething happened to me my battery died amd they said no warranty and also gave 50% off for a new one, I bought a new one and my battery wont stay charged when I. Called fitbit to complain my fitbit keeps turning on everytime my arm touches screen and they said it is normal but my old one only turned on when pushed button. Yes I have set to mutton only.

weird they offered you 50% off if it wasn’t under warranty. I was told that was only for warrantied products.
I love the fitbit but find they lack in customer service.

I understand it. I’m saying I don’t agree with it. I was given a dud replacement ( no ones fault, it happens) and fitbit is refusing to rectify that. Not cool

@lindseycowan each case is taken on an individual basis, so the discount could be 35% or 50% depending on the situation.
