Anyone has the same issue? Battery Drain > Update Failure > Heart Rate Not working anymore?

I've been Fitbit advocate for 5+ years and purchased 4 devices since 2014, however what I've experiences in the last one week totally made me lose my faith in Fitbit. And this is what happened: 

 

  • Battery drain quickly - The battery dropped from 100% to 0% in 4 hours. First i though I might forgot to charge it, it takes me 3 attempts to figure out it's actually becuase of the device it self .
  • Firmware Update failure- the most frustrated experience I have ever had with any product i use... Dont want to go for more details, but overall I spent 20+ hours dealing with Firmware update and 4 times contact Help for solutions. The update takes 1+ hour and always fails due to connection issues at very end. 
  • Heart Rate Not working anymore - After following HELP's instruction to reset to factory setting, I was able to update the Firmware. I was so happy until i realize the Heart Rate was shown as --. Contacted HELP desk and after troubleshooting, they told me that the Heart Rate dedector seems broken..I was like HOW??? It was perfectly functioning before the update!

This is my first time posting anything on this Forum, Im been very frustrated and just want to see if there's anyone also dealing with this issue? I only have Versa for 15 months and until last week, everything's working perfectly and I really love it. And now even Fitbit is offering some discount for me to purchase a new device, I dont want to deal with them anymore, i am so exhasted..

Warranty is over and You should buy new tracker now! 🙂

Actually You had extra 3 month of life for Your device! You must be happy!

I personally lost 2 alta trackers (12 month of life each) and an Ionic tracker (12 month after purchase). Now I'm waiting for my Versa death. But this one is working so bad so I wish it will die before 12 month expiratoin period 🙂
