I have a Blaze, which I love, but am considering adding a Versa so I can use a tracker while swimming. I am trying to figure out if it’s worth it, and in looking at all the issues that people seem to have with the Versa, I really wonder....I realize that this is a help forum, so obviously it’s for people needing help. I have had my Blaze for 2 years, and haven’t had any issues with it. Thanks!

Love it. It's my first Fitbit and I've not had it long. I'm very impressed, not just with the watch/tracker but with all the IT behind it. The apps for phone and computer, the web-based dashboard, these discussion boards, friends and groups (who I'll probably join when I get going a bit more), the downloadable data and all the rest.
Good value for money in my view and very motivating.
(While not disparaging real problems people are having, I suspect some of it is from people who are unfamiliar with tech, and some from people who yearn for the additional possibilities the tech suggests.)

I am on the fence but starting to like it more. I have had a Flex2 and a Charge2 before getting the Versa. When I first got my Versa I was getting crazy amounts of phantom steps and floors, I understand that driving can cause those as I got them with both my previous trackers. But I was getting 1000 to 5000 a day and 30 to 40 floors where with previous trackers I might get 100 steps and a floor or two. That being said I recently reinstalled my Versa and (knock on wood) so far my phantom steps and floors are inline with what I got previously on my Charge2.
But enough of that, I really like the larger clock face and the fact you can load different clock faces, the fact that the screen is in color is also nice and I like that you can do more from the watch itself without using the app. If the phantom issues continue to stay away I think I will be very happy with the Versa.

How do you re-install? Do you just forget it and delete from your account? I'm having the weird phantom floors thing happening. It's getting a tad annoying. My blaze would only phantom count a few extra floors because of the elevators in my building, but the Versa adds tons. There is no way I climbed 70+ floors in one day.

Thank you! I had the Charge2 also and it recently died. I like the Blaze a lot better than that, so wasn’t too disturbed when the Charge 2 died....

@Ladyash, yes I deleted the Versa from my app when I went back to my Charge2. When I decided to give the Versa another try and was setting it up it downloaded software and installed it like it was a fresh install. I don't know for a fact that this is what corrected my issue but it is the best I could come up with as I have not had the issue since. Not sure if it makes a difference but I had been using the Charge2 for about 3 weeks so the Versa battery had totally died.

I really want to like my Versa. Before the Versa, I had a Charge 2 and an Alta. I started with a Fitbit Zip a few years ago, so you can see I am Fitbit fan. However, the Versa has been frustrating. I have never been able to get notifications to work consistently. They work for awhile and then they don’t. This weekend I had an issue with my Versa refusing to sync and even refusing to pair with my phone’s Bluetooth...after having been paired since May. I finally got a resolution for that on this forum after a lengthy conversation with customer support that was no help.
Good points of the Versa include it’s battery life and it’s visibility even in bright sunlight.
However, I expect more from Fitbit than the Versa has delivered.

Hello Happygrrl,
Thank you for your feedback. I started with the Fitbit One 6 years ago, still have it, use it on occasion....it remains the most reliable, problem-free Fitbit that I have owned! If I add the Versa, I will have 3 in use. Don’t really have to have it, but I like the looks of it, the features and that you can swim with it. It seems like with more features, the Fitbits have issues.....

I really like my Versa
It's a great looking device, pictures really don't do it justice. I'd probably say it's fitbits best looking device to date. It's very comfortable and light, especially compared to the more bulky Ionic and a lot more comfortable then the Blaze.
I think if used along side the Blaze, the Blaze definitely won't get much of a look in.
