Anyone used Versa 3 connectors to wear other brands bands?

I have a heart set on a rival companies watch band. I saw versa 3 connectors online and it looks like it just has a little pin, if I'm understanding.. so if I bought another band that was 20 mm wide that took a pin type connection, would it work? Anyone had any experience switching around bands from different brands? Which ones worked for you?

@AeroGurL   Are you asking about something like this?  I personally haven't done it.  But it looks like it should work.  It says it should take any 20 mm band.

Yeah totally figured it out, thanks. I bought a watch kit with a spring bar tool & lugs. Any band will work as long as the strap is 20mm (Versa 3) and metal spring bars to connect to your 20mm lugs. I suggest replacing the strap from an old & trusty watchband with good connectors first, the cheap plastic connectors break easily, if you're not careful you'll lose your whole Fitbit. Highly recommend Barton's online, great straps & spring bars.
