Good morning Friends, I connected the Strava and Fitbit accounts and the recorded races with strange appear correctly on the Fitbit web platform but when I go into the application on my device Versa tells me to go to the Strava settings on the Fitbit mobile app to access .... but there are already ... they are already connected ... and therefore I can not visualize the activities on the display of the versa. Can someone help me? Thank you.

Accepted Solutions

You will need to open the fitbit app on your phone.

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon (User-added image) > your device image.
  2. Tap Apps.
  3. Scroll down to Strava.
  4. Tap the Gear icon.
  5. Under Strava login tap Strava Authorize.
  6. Now login with your Strava credentials.

You should now be able to see running and cycling activities on the strava app on your Versa. It may take a little while for them to show up though.

@SunsetRunner Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is still unable to add Strava. Please try restarting your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your tracker internally. After you've done this, try the steps that shared my friend @N8teGee above and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

Where is the Fitbit app dashboard? Third day with Fitbit. I can see discover, today and community with the Fitbit app, none of which seem to have anything useful for changing any settings.

Hi my fitbit versa is linked to strava so that my activities logged on the versa sync to strava in most cases immediately after I've completed them. However when I look at the strava app on the versa display it's always several activities behind,  how can I remedy this?

What is a "little while" though? Loke days?  The thing is useless...you login...authorize it...and for DAYS it tells you to go to the mobile app and login.  I could have run 20k w the time ive  wasted with this thing.

I am having the exact same issue. Received my new Versa 2 today and linked my Strava account on the Fitbit app and it says it is authorised etc. However on the actual Fitbit it is saying link account - go to Strava settings on your Fitbit mobile app to log in. I have tried the advice here and restarted my Versa etc but no joy. Any advice please

Ok, so I very recently upgraded to a versa 2 from the blaze. I have been having the same issues as everyone here. Cannot connect to Spotify and cannot connect to Strava. It seems like Fitbit released the product too quickly before checking that third party apps would actually work on the device.

I tried to find a resolution through the online chat feature on the Fitbit website, I spoke with 3 different people, neither of which could solve the issue. I was told numerous times to simply turn Bluetooth off and on again! I was eventually blocked from the chat because I tried to use it too many times due to conveniently 'losing connection' to the so-called 'expert'.

I eventually found in an online forum somewhere that if you get the error messages turn the phone off and on again. I tried this and to my amazement, I managed to get Spotify working. To then discover that you cannot adjust the volume of your music though the Spotify app on your phone. Which is quite annoying of you are out for a run and don't use corded headphones with volume control. You have to take your phone out of your arm strap and do it that way.

Strava was more difficult to get working. I had to turn my phone on and off numerous times to get it to connect.

So I am now up and running with all features. I did see on the forum that somebody had had managed to connect to both, however lost connection after a couple of days. Wish I'd have stayed with the Blaze, or spent a little more and got an apple watch

I had the same issue for ages. Read through countless forums and found nothing. Also phoned Fitbit customer services who couldnt help either.

The way I solved the issue was, when the Fitbit is in the process of trying to connect to Strava, quickly turn your phone off and on again. Keep trying this until it works. I had the same issue with Spotify too. Do the same, turn your phone off and on again as it is trying to connect and hopefully you are are all set
