App won't save new daily steps goal

Hello!

I'm trying to update my daily steps goal in the app but it won't save the changes.

From the 'Today' page I hit the 'Steps' icon - the settings cog at the top right of the screen - 'delete' the existing goal under 'Steps' - input the new number - hit 'done'.

When I look at the settings again, it has reverted back to the old goal. And after syncing my watch to the app, it still notifies me when I hit my existing step count.

Help appreciated 🙂

Hello @va2hughes

When your trying to change your step goal did you notice if any other activity showing as a zero? Example…The floors are set to zero or “0’’. If there is anything with a zero or “0’’ then put a number in it. Like the example floors ….change it from 0 to 1 floor.

For some reason the app won’t accept anything if one of the activity’s are set to zero. But once you add a number then it plays nicely. It should now accept your new step goal you want to enter. Just remember to sync your Fitbit when you finished making any changes so your Fitbit will accept those charges.

😃 I hope this provides you with a solution and the best answer to your question. Please let me know if this works for you.
