Are my clock faces saved or do I have to repurchase?

Hey there!

If I have purchased a clock face and want to experiment with other designs, but then want to keep the one I’ve already purchased... is that clock face saved someplace? Or do I have to repurchase?

Thanks Baltoscott. Well they never told me I could see it if I set always
on to off. But for me however that doesn’t satisfy me. I purposely
purchased the Versa 2 as it had the “always on” feature. So of course I
want the face I choose to be always on not what they want at FitBit.
Frankly I think it’s incredibly disingenuous of them to decide that we
can’t have what we choose despite losing battery life. So what if one has
to charge it more often. As said I’ve told them that unless they put out an
update fixing this I’ll be returning. It. Thanks again. Jeff

Hi Scott. Certainly not upset with your fix of course. That said I turned  off the “always on” feature as you said now I can see face I downloaded. At 72 am a big geek from way back when PCs were first on market. Another q if I may? If I chose a couple of different faces will they be saved and where and how to retrieve. Thanks Scott. Be well. Best. Jeff

@Pacedge30 — Fitbit needs to set up a list under “my clocks’ where you can save your favorites and the ones you’ve paid for, but for now anyway all they show is the one you have installed. (Other than the minimalist ‘always on’ version for the Versa 2).

I usually just use the free Fitbit faces in “all clocks” tab.  There aren’t that many so it is easy to find the ones you like.

The other tip That someone else on this tread mentioned is to take a screen shot of your current installed clock face and save it In a folder in your photo album.  Then if you switch it out for something else and want to go back you can check the pic so you know what to search for.  As an example, I’m using this one now and if I switch it out I’ll search for nightmare or Amy to find it again.

Welp, that just answered the should-I-upgrade-to-V2 question. Nope, hard pass.

Thanks. Absolutely don’t do it. I believe they’ll be forced to send out
some significant software upgrades, soon I hope, if not I’m returning it.

Right Scott. My better choice is that I’ve written the ones I like on a pc
of paper, put in my drawer and can then search name, comes up and that’s
it.
They have much to digest and put out a big update and promptly or they’ll
lose good standing. I’ve already lost faith in them, didn’t mention this
is 2nd
V2, as both came with bands made incorrectly, made on reverse side, the
beveled smooth side facing wrist, flat side on top, how ridiculous is that!
Yes they’re sending me a correct one & wrote they assured me this is a
rare occurrence until I told them this is now the 2 nd watch, both with
wrong bands. “Someone’s not watching the store.”

Agree! Being new to Fitbit I am purchasing and experimenting with different clock faces. There should be a tab for already purchased clock faces. How could something so necessary be left out?

I can see my heart rate go up in frustration trying to search for the clock faces I already purchased. What a HUGE blunder by the app developers and a simple fix.

A new update coming in December will provide the ability to store up to 5 clock faces on the tracker ready for immediate recall.

Hello! Is there really nowhere in the fitbit app where I can see all the faces I have purchased? Don't think I will be able to remember which I have and haven't bought as there are so many faces available!

I can’t find the face I purchased, is there any “my purchases”?

i bought the versa 2 because i wanted a feel like my Pebble. i have the original Kickstart Pebble, Pebble Steel, Pebble Time, Pebble 2, LG GWatch R, Samsung S3 Frontier, Tic S and Tic Pro. not one (except versa 2) makes it impossible to track what faces you have. under "All Faces" there are more than just a few independent watch face maker companies. who can recall what or how many faces they bought from which vendor. that watch face or app should be able to track every single face you buy. all the ones listed above do it. why cant FITBIT?

This is my temporary solution, too, but we still have to spend too much time scrolling through to find them again.
I hope FitBit can improve this soon. It would be great to be able to save previously purchased, previously downloaded free clock faces, and favorites for potential purchase or free download!

If you go on to the kiezelpay website which is where you get directed to to buy all the clock faces from, there is an option at the top saying Purchase History - it will ask for the email you use, send you a link and that takes you back to the website which shows you the name of every clock face you have ever brought and gives you the option to resend the email for that purchase so you can see pictures of the clock faces which is handy if it’s a bundle. Would be easier if Fitbit just had a section on the app but at least they are stored somewhere,

Nothing truer has ever been said.

I have wanted to do that too - save a faces to experiment with them later and of course, you already know, you can only try out 5 at-a-time. Until FB fixes this issue - I scroll through the clock faces, screenshot them with my phone so they are saved in my camera roll. I go back later and type in the name of the face in the search box instead of scrolling through ALL of the faces to find the one I liked earlier. You prob already know this too, but there are 3rd party apps and websites in which you can create your own clock face and import it into the FB app. Good luck!

Until FB remedies this issue, I take screenshots of the clock faces I like as I’m scrolling through all of them. The screenshots save to my camera roll in my phone so I can go back later and type the name of the specific face I liked and it pops right. It’s still a pain but it saves you from having to scroll through each and every clock face to find which one you were looking for. Also, you may already know this, but there are 3rd party apps and websites that enable you to create your own clock face and import it into the FB app to save in your clockfaces. What could be better than your own personal clockface? Good luck!

This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Why can't they have a "purchased" section of your purchased watches. I mean I don't even know what the one I purchased was called or where to find it, and I like to change my watch faces from time to time. I have to go through this bull crap every time?
