Hi there

I recently contacted fitbit regarding my defective watch. I was asked to Hammer in the pebble and then send fitbit a picture so that the watch can be replaced.

has anyone else experienced this.

Hammering Pebble - smash the face .

I have been given a reference number but i am skeptical.

I've seen similar posts from people that have been asked to do this. It's an anti-fraud measure - it stops people falsely claiming a replacement by pretending their fitbit is broken and then selling one of them when it arrives.
