At around 8pm today all my steps on zero

After clocking up nearly 15000 steps my fitbit versa suddeny set back to zero steps at around 8pm. Also it stopped picking up my heart beat. Charge was down close to 25% so i charged it back up to full hoping that would resolve the issue. Nope. I turned off the device and that didnt work either. I've had it back on my wrist for an hour and its still showing no steps and no heartbeat. What do i do??? I have only had this thing since may this year.

Hey @twiztc, I hope you are doin' great! Thanks for trying some steps to fix this inconveniences with your Versa. Beside that, I'd like you to try the following:

- Review the timezone settings on your Fitbit account, as this could be the reason why it won't reset the steps at midnight

- Restart your Versa

- Turn OFF/ON the heart rate monitor on your Versa

- Sync your watch

Let me know how it goes!

Yep done all that. Timezone is correct. I was hoping after the midnight reset that today would clock up as normal but nope. Even though the device does not show steps or heartbeats the app on my android phone is still clocking them. My next atrempt will be to change the clockface just in case its an issue with that. If that does not work i guess I'll just have to get in touch with fitbit customer service.

Have you re-paired the connection between your Fitbit account and the Versa by setting it up as a new device?  I'm not sure this will work, but it may be worth a shot.

Thanks for your reply @twiztc! Thanks for trying what I suggested. Charging the clock face could be a good alternative. Let know if that works. Also, I'd like you to try to set up your Versa as a new device. Take a look at these instructions:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon User-added image
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Let me know how it goes!

Aha!! Bingo! Eureeka etc.

It seemed my choice of clockface was no longer avalable

New selection applied and evertything is back.

So fitbit clock users.... If your stats and whatnots go funky before thinking your watch or app is broken check the clock faces... It coukd be as simple as that 😀

Thank you Heydy moderater for listening to my ramblings
