Hello @Castro21 and welcome to the Help forums.  It is said that Fitbit uses the Mifflin St Jeor Equation for estimating BMR.  There are online calculators where you can enter your information and see if you get the same or similar number.  How are you deciding, from your data, that your BMR is over 2500 calories?

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

3000 calories would seem high for BMR, but can't be sure without knowing other stats.  You can google 'BMR calculator' and find several places to calculate you BMR roughly.  Fitbit's calculation is usually very close to these but you can check yourself.

Look at your calorie burn chart overnight while asleep and see what that is.  It reads in 15 minute increments.  Multiply one of those values times 96 to get an approximation of what Fitbit says is your BMR for full day.  That can tell you how approximately much of your calorie burn is actually from your BMR and how much is from your movement.

But also, when you say you are doing nothing at all, you are probably getting well above your BMR at times unless you are lying in bed all day without even getting up to go the bathroom or to eat.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
