Batery life after only 5 days from buying Versa

Hello!
I bought Versa on Friday morning did all the set up and I didn't bother with quick view and all that things that they say that drain battery. All was on, except notification from mobile - I don't need that.

Battery life for first charging/set up was pretty well - 3 and a half days but I must say I play a lot with all of the functions to see what I can do, connecting to mobile/laptop few time per day to see stats on larger screen because it was fun to see all the details. I have to say I didn't play music via Versa.

Yesterday before sleep I put Versa to charge it was on maybe 18% and it charged to 99% and wouldn't hit 100% no way (OK, I found out from this community that it needs time for that).

I set 2 alarms on my Versa for morning and when I woke up (first alarm, I turned off second one)  battery was on 70%.

I searched this community and I turned off quick view and all day sync. But maybe 5 min later battery was on 65%.

I don't know what to think now. Everything was OK with almost all functions on and only one charging latter with all the same thing on it was on 70%.

Did anyone experienced something link this? And what should I do?

@Starcrunch_Cro  Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry to hear that your Versa's battery is draining quickly. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. If the issue persist then you can let our Support team know just like @SunsetRunner  suggested.

Hi, try restarting your Versa several times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons togehter untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. If that does not solve your battery problem, contact Customer Support and ask for a battery test.

I've had my Versa for around 2 weeks and I am bummed about the battery life. I got it because of the features and that it said it would last "up to 4 days" which is was I was getting out of my Flex from like 5 years ago that has been through hell and back.

The only thing I leave on is notifications. I stopped the always connected bluetooth option, the all day sync is off, I have done the basic stock watch face and currently do not have an animated one, and have no music etc on it. I even removed the wifi details for my home connection.

I charge correctly until it says 100% (I'm blown away at how that is used as the number one "have you tried this" suggestion by support associates), I have restarted it several times, and still barely get a day. I do not use any apps, or music with it.

Giving it about another week and if it is still bad after multiple restarts etc, it is going to be returned. I'm bummed out that the Pebble platform isn't more properly supported (or even used for the features of new products) when it Fitbit made that purchase as my Pebble watch with the same features being used got me a week + battery life.

I charged with wall usb charger and restarted watch and it helped in my case...

I don't know what to think, but when i pay +150$ I don't want to think about that kind of problems from the start.... I hope that this thing doesn't happen anymore because I will be bummed about that because I also expected 4 day battery life at least, because from the start I didn't want to use this watch for notification from phone or listening to music.... I just wanted fitness tracker that is pretty small and tracks all those thing that Versa does....

@Davethebiker A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't working even after following the troubleshooting steps. Please let our Support team know about this. You will get an email from them so they can further assist you.

@Starcrunch_Cro happy to hear that the suggestions helped you. Sometimes the power source doesn't provide enough to properly charge your device. There are many variables that could affect this. This is why I suggested you trying different power sources and the wall adapter ended up working for you.

Keep me posted!
