Battery Drains in less than 24 hours/Screen is Black and Won't Respond

I have had my Versa for around 18 months and have never had trouble with it until a few days ago.  Usually it will hold a charge for 3-4 days.  A few days ago the battery started draining rapidly and it can't even make it a full day.  The screen also goes black and it will not wake up.  When it is working the screen is very dim and you can hardly see it.  It also keeps randomly switching into the workout programs without any buttons being pushed.

I am having the same issue with my battery not holding a charge. I am really frustrated. I have had this device for less than a year. The original had to be replaced because the band came undone and my versa screen was cracked. I am sure this one is refurbished one. I am seriously considering leaving the FitBit brand and going to an Apple Watch. I have tried a hard reset twice and my battery still won't last an entire day. Spending over $200 for this watch was a waste.

I hope you can find a resolve. Good Luck!

I am in the same boat  I have had this Fitbit less than a year. I have been very faithfully to Fitbit but I might be going to an Apple Watch as well.

I know I am so frustrated. They walked me through a factory reset and it
will not the reset will complete. They admitted it is defective but it is
out of warranty. The most they will do is 25 % off a new one. I don't think
I want to spend any more money on their products.

I think that I am going to do the same. This is my 3rd Fitbit and my family
all have Fitbits. I'm done spending any more of my money on them. Have a
great day.

I have a Versa Lite and have the same exact problem, went through troubleshooting with Fitbit, nothing changed. My watch is only 6 months old, so still under warranty. They have offered me a replacement, but the warranty goes back to original purchase), or 50% off a new watch with new warranty.  Not sure what the better option is.
