Last Sunday my battery charge was lasting about 48 hours. Suddenly on Thursday it was down to
3% after 13 hours. It has continued through to today. Versa was purchased Christmas 2017. Help!!

I am having the same problem. I fully charged my Versa yesterday afternoon and now I am down to 22%. I used to only charge my Fitbit every few days.

That’s happening to me also. I had it fully charged yesterday around 6 and when I woke up at 10 this morning it was at 11%

Yes I am having the same. Friday it was fully charged then battery drained overnight Saturday and I hadn’t had any low battery warning. It was completely empty when I woke up. So I charged it to 90% yesterday and again this morning I woke up to it on 5%

Exactly the same for my Versa too, battery dying within 24 hours, also not logging active minutes accurately & also not showing BPM, I have Factory reset & removed & reinstalled the app, very frustrating & losing faith in FitBit !!!!

From the response from the FitBit admins it seems they don't care that multiple people are having the same issue with watches that should have no problems. Admins - how about weighing in on the problem??? Do the watches have a replaceable battery? What gives??

I have the same problem! I kept a log during the last 24 hours of the battery level and it hasn't lasted 24 hours. My Versa has been fine up until around a week or so ago. At first I thought it was just me not remembering when I last charged it. Now I know categorically that it is not holding charge. I have no 3rd party apps, don't use music etc. I just use as a step counter and basic watch most of the time. I have not changed anything within my settings. Therefore, something else MUST have changed. As per the other person, do the rechargeable batteries have a limited life? Is there built in obsolescence, like Apple, to force you to buy a new watch. I hope not ! But right now, I am not impressed. I love my Versa and this is causing me a lot of frustration.
Come on FitBit - whats going on ???

Yes definitely something not right for so many people to have similar issues, it is now affecting - Active Minutes Heart rate none of which are syncing correctly despite numerous deleting & reinstalling the app & factory reset, have had 2 live chat sessions but nothing has worked so far starting to lose faith in FitBit & Versa!!!

I found a way to get a satisfactory resolution.
Charge your watch to 100%. Approximately every hour sync the watch to smartphone or laptop. Keep doing this until watch is at zero percent and no activity at all on the watch. [My syncing included 7 hours of sleep with no syncing and it still gave the results needed].
THEN contact Fitbit through the IM function and they can access the battery drainage and make the determination that the watch IS draining way to fast with only normal usage!!!
Worked for me, have a free replacement watch on the way!!!!
Added 5/5/2019 - watch replacement received, charged and logged into smart phone app. Watch is now working as it did when I first received the original new watch!!
BTW, before my watch started discharging so quickly, I had made no changes to faces or anything else just before it started dying so fast!!!
Good luck.

Update - After having email discussions with Fitbit and having carried out a number of battery tests over the last few days, Fitbit have now agreed there is a battery charge problem with my Versa and agreed that it is not holding charge. They have offered to replace the unit, which I have accepted. I hope this Versa doesn't go the same way.
I did ask the question 'if they had resolved the issue around batteries not holding charge as it appears to be happening to a number of owners in recent weeks' but did not get a firm response, they just said that there were many different scenario's as to why the problem may be occurring.
TBH it didn't fill me with confidence.
Fingers cross this solves the problem and that it does not happen again further down the ownership line.

Hi everyone. I will assist you with your Versa's battery life and sorry for the late reply. Please try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.
If you continue having issues please let me know.
