I have only owned my Versa for 20 months. The battery has been great, lasting 4-5 days per charge, but the last couple months the battery only lasts 10-18 hours. Customer service confirmed that there is a battery issue. My watch has never seen water and doesn't have a scratch (I only use it for walking, running and sleeping). Any recommendations? I have tried resetting it, minimizing the features etc. down to nothing other than counting steps and monitoring my sleep. I have had many other Fitbit products over the years and have never had a major issue like this in such a short time. I never looked at the warranty when I bought it (assuming the quality was the same as the previous products from Fitbit) - I understand the warranty is only 12 months. Looking for help on this - thanks!

I’ve had mine only a few months and have this problem. Loses 40-50% in a day.

I spoke to the Fitbit service people. They verified that there definitely is a problem with the battery. They said there is nothing they can do because it is outside of the 12 month warranty (I wish I would have looked at the warranty information when I bought it - I assumed it would last longer). I was offered a 25% coupon to replace it with a Versa 2, but the discount would only get it down to the current everyday price on Amazon. I can't go on charging it 1-2 times per day. Looking at the other options out there in the market. I have been a loyal Fitbit customer from the day the first Fitbit came on the market but I am not o.k. with being forced to buy another product - I prefer to choose to upgrade to a new model for new features/style/etc. I don't believe this is a case of "planned obsolescence", it is just poor battery quality. Any advice on what is in the market to replace this device? Just looking for simple functionality for steps, heart rate, sleep quality and time. It was awesome for the first 1.5 years and I hate to part with a good thing......
