Having a serious problem about the battery life of Fitbit Versa!

The problem started on Thursday. The watch blacked out all of a sudden in the morning when I was ready to go out.  At the same time I received a email alert about the low battery level of the device. Though sometimes I used to receive email in the morning but wait until the evening when I’m back home

to charge the watch, it never black out like this. So it’s the first time it will black out due to low battery level. I charged it immediately when I back home that afternoon and everything seemed like back to normal. But in fact, it’s not. Last night when I switched out the light and ready to go to bed, I’m surprised to discover that the watch was “dead” again. So I have to charge it immediately and slept without the device.

This morning when I woke up, I saw that the device is only 60% charged and when I removed it from the charger, the watch immediately blacked out again but “switched on” when I connect it back to the charger. I immediately tweeted Fitbit Support about my problem and they suggested me to use my computer to charge the device. I tried and when I removed the device from the charger 21 minutes ago, 22% of battery life was already gone! With a speed like this, I don’t think the battery life can last for a day.

I got this smart watch 2 months ago and I didn’t expect situation like this will happen. This is my third Fitbit purchase and I never experience something like this when I wear an Alta or an Alta HR.

I’m really disappointed this time. Especial I really like Fitbit Versa.

I have exactly the same problem. I like the product but recently facing heavy battery drain. Have performed factory reset and set up again. Still the same behavior.

I am having the same issue.  It doesn't last 24hrs.  Any fix?

Nope. I brought it back to the retailer for repair. I ended up got a replacement...

Some Versas have bad batteries but also some Clock Faces can seriously drain the battery.  Before you throw in the towel try replacing your clock face with a simple one and turn off things like All-Day Sync, Always Connected and Keep Alive Widget.  You might find that your battery is indeed bad but you might find that you had a clock face that was eating your battery.
