Battery draining fast on Versa

Hi,

When my Versa charged to 100%, I purposely left it on the stand for 20 mins more. But it shows 99% within one min after I started to wear it. Any ideas? Defective?

Hi, Once they deemed you needed a replacement, did they offer to replace or must you pay for a new one. I've had my Versa less than 4 months and the battery has started draining fast. It was at 100% at 7:30pm and by 5:30am, it was down to 51%.

They replaced it for free.

I believe mine was only about 4 months old when it started happening to me.

I would recommend calling customer service now because they are going to walk you through resetting it and then they are going to have you call them once the battery drains again. This way you can get it replaced quicker.

I’m sending mine back for a refund and sticking with my two year plus Blaze. So disappointed with Fitbit for promoting a 4 day battery on the Versa.

I was thinking of pulling my Blaze out, also. Never had battery issues. Got
Versa because I wanted the waterproof feature.
My husband was having some sort of issue with his new Versa - perhaps a
synching issue? It went of for days, but seems to have corrected. The Versa
just seems rather buggie.

I have a similar situation. If I leave my Fitbit Versa on my night stand all day, the battery has better battery life. But, if I wear it the Versa's battery drains completely within half a day. I have to wear my old Fitbit Blaze now because I can not depend on the Versa's battery life. I have only had the Versa for maybe two months. The battery problem started after I had loaded music files on it. I am wondering if the music is playing because it is always near my iPhone when I wear it. Maybe my iPhone is always playing music on my Versa?

I am also working with support. I don't d/l music or do any ancillary
activities. My battery is lasting 21 hours & my Versa is 3.5 months old.
I've run the test they requested, sent the results, then sent other
purchasing info they wanted.. now... silent. Will wait another day and will
email for a follow-up.

Glad to see this in a weird way - seemed like my Versa (about 4 months old) was losing the charge fast in the last week. Last night charged to 100% and it was at 25% in about 20 hours and I don't have any music or extras on it. Will be getting in touch with support.

Update on my battery situation. Received my Versa replacement today.
Support folks were efficient and they shipped the replacement quickly.

They will want you to have a Fitbit clockface, charge to 100% and then note
when it goes to zero%. Then they’ll ask for purchase info. (Or gift info).
Then they check that out, and if still in warranty, send a replacement.
They were very quick in the responses through all these steps.

Recently experienced rapid battery drain which I am attributing to an update to the watch face I use. I went to the settings and turned off the QuickView and it turned things around. Went from the battery charge lasting 24 hr to using just 24% in 24 hrs.

I think this is why Fitbit required I switch to a Fitbit watch face before
testing battery drain. They support the FB watch face performances - not
the 3rd party addons.

After going through some checks Fitbit determined there was something wrong with my battery and a replacement is on it's way. The customer support was great.

To those of you experiencing battery drain and running 3rd party clock faces... Some clock faces have quite frequent refresh rate. They run in the background draining your battery. Just go to Permissions of the clock face and disable run in the background. This will apply especially to stats heavy clock faces. Alternatively, you can change your clock face to one of Fitbit originals to see if that changes anything.
