Hi,

When my Versa charged to 100%, I purposely left it on the stand for 20 mins more. But it shows 99% within one min after I started to wear it. Any ideas? Defective?

My final decision will come when this latest replacement (only a couple of
months old)poops out and I've no doubt it will. If the replace it again I
might stay with the company of not in done with them forever. Versa is a
lemon. Good luck with yours!!!

The problem is, already knowing about battery issues, the FitBit help people are willing to waste infinite amounts of the customers’ time before leading them to the necessary conclusion.

There must be a price-point dip off, like when health insurance companies kept customers on hold, then the line went dead, when they were contesting bills. They had formulas for figuring out exactly how long a customer would pursue an issue relative to the amount of the bill. At some point, they give up. The companies know that.

That’s a really bad business model, if true, which is possible. The first replacement versa was only agreed to be sent after I was subjected to repeated testing of the unit yielding the result we all knew would happen. Then they offered me a refurbished versa for free or 50% off a brand new one. I took the refurbished one only because it felt like throwing good money after bad to pay even half for a new one. Not sure what happens now, a mere 3 months later when I’m in the exact same boat. I suspect they will refuse to engage with me.

Its fair to say the versa has been a disaster clearly there has not been enough testing done before selling to the public. I had a fitbit surge for 2 years with no problems until it eventually stopped working one day. I bought a versa 2nd hand which started out to be great for about a month and now a full charge will only last about 2 hours. Of course i won't get and tech support because I bought it 2nd hand. Gutted and so frustrated with fitbit. I hope everyone on here gets the support needed.

Fitbit obviously isn't taking in feedback on the Versa either....most
Fitbit lovers are unhappy with this model. Me being one. Turned me against
the brand. 😞

Hi,

I’m having the battery issue on my Fitbit Versa Lite too. The battery suddenly depleted to 10% for a 2 days usage. Normally it last me for a good 4 days. I didn’t change any settings. And I got the watch in May this year.

Yea it’s such a shame because the Fitbit products are great to use but unfortunately don’t have the quality of some other makes. So it looks like a change to Garmin or Apple Watch for me. Good luck to you

I think Fitbit has just given up on the versa! I font think there is a single person out there that is happy with the versa and almost everyone at some point has returned/exchanged for another one.

Sorry, but it seems you want us not to use any of the features we bought the Versa for...

I guess i am not the only one. I have bought 3 fitbits, they all had issues too. I purchased the lite versa in june, by August it wasn't working properly, i got it replaced and now 2 months later the battery only last 2 hours max.

Unbelievable

I am very disappointed with versa. I had a charge 2 for a year, and my husband bought me a versa for swimming. That versa lasted a few months then the heart rate didn’t work so Fitbit sent me a replacement and less than a year the replacement battery is draining within 12 hours. Fitbit customer service told me totally drain and charge then wear and sync it five times. Did what I was told and called Fitbit back ,they said my year warranty was up so out of luck. (The warranty started with original broke one and not replacement) My charge 2 is still going strong. Fitbit said they would send me a 40% coupon but received 25% off coupon in email. Does Fitbit really think I want to buy another watch from them when two of them broke in a short time period? The answer is NO and Get better customer service FITBIT!

It’s only going to get worse now that google took over! I’m so disappointed with Versa! First battery draining and now with the new Apple update my phone won’t receive any texts! All Fitbit said was sorry we are working on it!😡

Thats why fitbit has sold guys. Too many problems and they cant fix them. Even things that look "simple". Apple eating the high market, asian fitness band and smartwatch makers eating the low segment market. Fitbit was for many years the "1st" in this category and it was like monopoly  but the last 2-3 years others are doing better. Lets hope google can help fitbit to go back in track.

I gave up on my Fitbit and went back to wearing a watch. I wear a Biostrap
on my right wrist and find it gives me all the information I need.

This model and customer service is why Fitbit lost me as a customer. Good

I switched to Apple watch as well. There are things that I actually liked
better on the Fitbit but the way they handled the situations with Versa has
me disinterested in trying anything else they have to offer. Shame. I was a
loyal customer for years and loved them.

I totally agree. Having to turn things off to have battery life does stink.  I got the Versa2 so I could walk and listen to music and leave my phone at home.  It drains the battery for sure, so I use my headphones and take my phone again.  I just turned off quick view which again, stinks.  What is the purpose of having this thing when everything it's tauted to do drains the battery so leave it home so you have full charge.  Or better yet, keep the cheap versions of fitbit because now that is all you are reduced to having is a step tracker.  I'm not satisfied at all

Exactly! I switched to Apple watch. I like the tracking with Fitbit better
but the rest of the issues were so bad. Good luck!

This is my second Versa with the same problem.  With my first Versa, Fitbit replaced it.  Now with my second one they won’t replace but will give me a 20% discount on a new Versa with no guarantee that this won’t happen again. 🤦🏼‍:female_sign:  Anyone have thoughts on the Apple Watch compared to Fitbit?
