Battery draining fast on Versa

Hi,

When my Versa charged to 100%, I purposely left it on the stand for 20 mins more. But it shows 99% within one min after I started to wear it. Any ideas? Defective?

I took it back even though Fitbit said they would replace it …. and went back to my Fitbit Alta, which works just great and battery lasts about 1 week…

I'm having the same issue. My versa is drained within hours. It sounds like you can only get the 4+ days if you don't use all the features, which makes no sense. If it was purchased for those bells and whistles it should have a battery life to sustain it. I've only had my versa for 2 days and I'm disappointed. If I had known I would have gone with a more basic fitbit. I may still do that if I can return it.

It’s very disappointing that the Versa has these issues I was really looking forward to it but with all my the frustration I gave up and w Mt with the Apple Watch and the only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner .

Over the past week my Versa battery is draining more than 1% an hour. I took it off the charger last high at 100% and less than 12 hours later, it was down 20%, and then another 5% in two hours. Most of this time was while I was asleep. I don't listen to music, or access the internet, and don't have interactive watch face. I went through the whole android battery drain issue last month and now this...what can be done???

I've had my Fitbit Versa since May of this year and have not had any battery issues.  Just this week it doesn't stay charged.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thank you.

Mine just started doing the same.  Charged before bed last night, 50% by morning.  It is not making it through the day.  Works great otherwise, so I hope it can be fixed.

I ended up having to take mine back to the retailer for a replacement.
When I looked at the app, the battery looked fully charged. However, the
screen on the Fitbit Versa was black. I have the new one and it actually
connected to the app much faster than the first one and I have not had any
problems since. I am guessing I just had a defective one. I am super
happy that the retailer replaced it for me, as it was a gift from my
daughters.

Have taken mine back to retailer twice now (Best Buy).  First time was for battery draining too fast.  That was back in February.  Most recently, I had the "black screen" on my Versa.  I know it was still on and functioning because I could feel vibrations from alerts and when I synced it was still counting steps, however, I couldn't get the screen to come back on.

On my most recent replace though, Best Buy said they have discontinued their warranty on the Versa and all issues now have to be sent back to Fitbit for repair / replacement.  My guess is that there are too many issues and they are turning over their inventory too frequently due to these kind of persistent issues.  Hopefully this one will last longer than 4 months otherwise I'm gonna go Apple or an Ionic.

Hi Marco,

I've had my Versa for a month now and it had great battery.

But now (it's been 4 days) I have to charge it every night.

Today I took it off the charger at 7:30 am (100% charge) and now it is 7:00 pm and its at 31%.

I didn't change anything on settings.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and kept default settings except for enabling "Widget Keep-Alive" since it used to drain by phone battery very quickly.

Please let me know what should I do.

My battery is starting to decline quickly too. Considering contacting customer support but not sure if they’ll do anything at this point.

I believe they know it’s a problem and have a feeling they will do what they have done in the past have you turn off different things and hope you go away. To frustrating for me I’m happy with my Apple Watch . Good luck

How long does your Apple Watch battery last and do you have the water proof series 3? Debating on going to that but read battery life was only 18 hours.

I do charge it every night although the battery has lasted a few days. It does not have a sleep tracker and I miss that. Mine said it is waterproof I just never take a chance with it in the water.

Suggest you reset the software and if u want to change interface, keep it
under Fitbit creates. Other author will use more battery span.
