Hi,
When my Versa charged to 100%, I purposely left it on the stand for 20 mins more. But it shows 99% within one min after I started to wear it. Any ideas? Defective?

I am having short- very short battery life issues on my Versa as well. I can't help but wonder if the only way to preserve our battery life is to turn off and/or remove some of the prime features from our device what is the purpose of having the Versa? I purchased this for many of the features your saying to turn off. Is this being worked on will I have the option to exchange this Versa for a new and improved Versa once the fix is in place. I am seriously considering returning this if I can't use the Versa for all of its features

Fitbit actually did send me a replacement and it WAS working great. Until this week. It's been about 2 months since I received it. Now the battery is not making it 24 hrs without a charge. I'm contacting them again today...... This is ridiculous.

That's what mine did. I also have the Note 8. Contact fitbit support.

I’m having some issues with my Versace battery being naff!
charged it to 100% whilst it was turned off & soon as I took it off charger it dropped down 99%
batrery doesn’t even last a day & ive had it a few months now.
it used to last a couple of days but I’m lucky if I get a days charge out of it

My Versa is down to 29% after 24 hours. Quick view is off. All day sync is off. No music or alarms. The only thing I used it for was my cardio at the gym yesterday. I'm having to charge this thing daily Unacceptable

My new versa is turning out to be a true pain. It took a long time to make the choice to purchase. I have gone thru all the steps to limit battery use. It still drains within hours. Full charge lasts a couple hours - not the 4+ days advertised. Help! I am considering returning

@cher2082 this definitely should not be happening. I would try factory reset but also would like to know if you're running any third party watch faces. Is your versa syncing without issues? Are you able to receive notifications?

@jerbear737 I'm glad you love it! Though I would love to point out one thing... Apple watch's battery... So, basically your recommendation is to replace a defective versa with the device that you need to charge every day? It so happens my husband has series 4. It's an awesome device true (for a lovely price), but unfortunately it does not come with a better battery. Also, I would argue fitness and wellness platforms superiority but again to each its own.

For anyone having this issue. I am on my third (and last) Versa now. First Versa started fine but then the battery started to drain faster and faster until it couldn't hold the charge even a full day with everything turned off. Replaced that one and the battery was no longer an issue. My hunch is that there was a huge push to get the Versa out on time and that there wasn't a whole lot of QC on Fitbit's part in order to meet their timeline. They got a big batch of these substandard batteries that went into those big initial shipments.
Fully charged, your batter should last four days with "normal" use. I run a third party watch face, have notifications turned on, track my 1 hour workouts twice a day, regularly synch (manually) and use the occasional stopwatch or timer every hour when I get up to stretch and walk around at work.
Note that at that time Best Buy still allowed you to exchange it for a new one - they have since discontinued that service for this model Fitbit (can't imagine why :-).
If you aren't getting a multiple-day charge call Fitbit for a replacement. Of course if you want hassle free, but fitness software that isn't nearly as robust, go iWatch.

Hi Marrmaduke-
In specific reply to what you wrote, I have a question. My coworker says that his iWatch charge lasts about a day and a half. Of course, he's not making calls on it or going out and using the GPS. Additionally, I have seen third-party sleep tracking software for the iWatch. Does your husband make use of all the apps and is that why the batter isn't lasting as long, or is it more of a "recharge at 25%" thing? Just curious because it seems like the Versa may not be long on my arm (unfortunately) due to it's many hidden issues.
Thanks!

@Stupud He uses it quite a bit. I think mainly for notifications and workouts. He charges it every day before he goes to bed (leaves it charging), but I believe it might be more 25% thing. Nevertheless, you would have to charge it the next day. The watch is really nice and way faster than previous generation but the battery hasn't been much improved. My husband's only regret. I think for a person that is looking for a good smartwatch with tracking capabilities, it will work just fine, that is if you don't mind missing out on HR/sleep tracking when you charge it. In my case, I want a great health/fitness tracker with smartwatch capabilities, that is visually appealing. Ha! Oh and that works. 😋

@cher2082 if even factory reset (wiping versa clean and setting it up and linking with your account again), the battery dies quickly, do return it. Don't waste your time. Good luck!

I think returning it is the only option. Grrrr
