Battery drains too fast

I am on my second Versa, in about 30 days.  The first one did not retain a charge for greater than about six hours.  This one lasts just shy of 8 hours.

Fitbit's crew had me do a two-day "battery test", (with next to nothing turned on, including All-Day-Sync tuned off) on the first one, and when that was completed, the good folks with FitBit sent me a replacement Versa.  Although, it did take speaking with three different agents, and all three made multiple attempts at convincing me to "take a refund".  I did not then, want a refund, and I do not now, "want a refund"!  What I desire, is a working Versa where the battery lasts at least somewhat close to the CLAIMED three to four days, and not just six, seven or maybe eight hours...

Regards,

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @DaBauz

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the difficulty you're experiencing with your Versa's battery draining faster than expected. Thank you for letting me know that this is your replacement Versa. I totally understand how you are feeling as you would like to continue using your watch without any issues. I recommend doing the following:

  1. Switch to a Fitbit clock face if you're using a third party clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
  2. Restart your device by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Charge the watch to 100% and use it like normal.

For additional tips to prevent the battery drain, please see this help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Let me know how it goes!

I do not get eight hours... and that's with NO all-day sync turned on, and
only syncing three maybe four times in the 7 and a bit hours.

I do not want a refund, but I also don't want a useless item (with claims
of 4 + days of battery-life) that looses its charge, with NOTHING turned
on, in under eight hours!

My wife recieved a Versa when I got my first one, and it lasts 3 to 4
days. Is it really too much to ask that I get a functional item for moneys
spent?
