I was so so pleased with my Fitbit and battery life and everything but after the last update, the battery lasts only for not even 2 days after 4/5 hiw it use to be! And also the notifications, it use to vibrate only which was perfect but now it vibrates AND the screen light is on which I hate because of the battery of course and everybody can see my notifications! I hate it and I am very disappointed! Anyone can help? If it’s not fixed i hate to say but i have to give up to Fitbit!

Hello @monykaboth, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that the new firmware update did not make Notifications turn on the screen on the Versa when they reach your phone, you still have to use Quick View by rotating your wrist for them to show up. Judging by the information you've sent, it seems Quick View is very sensitive at this moment, which is why I would like to suggest you to restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
If this feature is still very sensitive, turn it off by pressing the left button on the Versa for 2 seconds, then swipe to the left and tap where it says "Screen Wake" to turn it off. You will now have to press a button on your Versa to see your Notifications.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Marco, that is incorrect, i restarted my fitbit, i put it on the table and didn't move it and when i get a notification the screen does turn on. I turned off the auto wake feature but then i loose the quick view option which is very handy, there should be an option to turn the screen on/off for notifications.

Even with screen wake off, the watch still lights up the screen for notifications. Watch off my hand and laying on the table when this happens!

Hello! Thank you for your response.
I can make a video just to prove that Quick View is off, Screen Wake is by manual and I did restated my Versa since the last update not just once and Notifications do turn on the screen!
I had to enable the lock screen but it still turn on the screen light and vibrate and ask me to put my passcode. But at least like this I have some privacy.
Belive me, nobody was more happy and pleased with Versa than me. I do not like to complain it’s just that now I am so disappointed because it was perfect the way it was before the update and now no battery and no privacy!! Sad and disappointed. I really hope somehow it will get fix because otherwise I have to let go.

there are others who are reporting the same issue and are also upset about the light up of notifications. I am one of those who hates the light up. Not all messages are meant for everyone to see. Even if they can't really read it, it's not what I want to display. @MarcoGFitbit.. I am pretty sure it is not working as expected..

There is a feature suggestion to provide the option to turn off auto screen wake on notifications, please add your votes to this if it's something you would like added.

@monykaboth I am observing the same. From 5 days to 2.5... It's caused by screen-on time due to incoming notifications. @MarcoGFitbit, currently it's either Screen-ON or no notifications at all. There's no way to have Versa only vibrate. In my case, a) it drains battery terribly, b) is a concern for privacy during meetings with clients, c) freezes my Versa's display when multiple notifications are coming at the same time. @MarcoGFitbit Could you please address this issue? The best would be with a vibrate only option suggested by @N8teGee.
