like today my versa when from 68% to 31% in 10 hours and my wife watch is totally dead.
we follow the right way how to charge the watch but, like I’m saying this issue happened since the last two app update. Also my watch since the last update my watch skip text notifications and when I turn off and on the watch I got notifications from the whole week.
not sure what is going on.
Any help I will appreciate.
thank you

@Aboy6 Are you on Android? Have you tried rolling back the Fitbit mobile app version?

It's nice to see you around @Aboy6 and @Marrrmaduke !
@Aboy6 I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your experience with your Versa devices. I understand your concern regarding the battery life since the last app updates. Thank you for sharing the details of the issue with notifications. I recommend confirming that your app is updated to the latest version by following these steps. Fitbit regularly provides new versions of the app to offer new features and bug fixes.
I also would like to confirm if you're using a third party clock face? If so, please switch to a Fitbit clock face. I recommend restarting the devices and then charging to 100%. Please keep using the devices after that and let me know how it goes. For complete tips to prevent battery drain, please see this help article: Can I improve my Fitbit device's battery life?
Regarding the issue with notifications, does it affect only text notifications? Do you receive call notifications? To confirm the steps to set up notifications, please see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
@Marrrmaduke thank you for your efforts to help!
Please keep me posted!

I have an iPhone Xs. I just saw a new update a few minute ago.
sadly I can’t go back to any previous version from the apple store at leas I get the IPA file from that specific version. But, I will try to get the 2 version before if this new one doesn’t fix my problem.
Also. I charge my versa today and I’m already 85% in about 14 hours. Try to sinc with the phone takes forever.

Hello Liliya,
I do have a clock face. But, I have that clock face since I got the watch and never have an issue with it.
About phone notifications NADA my phone can ring and my watch will do nothing. Also tracking my walking is a pain as well. I’m order to my watch register my daily walking day I need to walk 30, 40 or even 60 minutes no stoping. If I stop for just 30 seconds doesn’t count at all. But to be clear that is just in the app not my watch.
By by the way I did uninstall and install the app twice already with out any success.
Any thoughts about all my issues?

I've had a similar problem the last month but I've had my versa for almost 2 years exactly. (got it for my birthday two years ago on 5/17) and the battery was lasting for 2-3 days no problem. All of a sudden it barely lasts a full day. In the time it took me to shower for work one day it dropped 5% in less than 20 mins. I will change back to a fitbit clockface but I don't think that will help. I also charge it the way your site recommends it to be charged.

I would factory reset the device (restore to factory defaults). Because it will wipe all data on your tracker (all that hasn't been synced yet), it would be good if you were able to sync. Please tap the Settings app on your Versa, scroll down to About and select Factory Reset. While tracker is resetting, do the following:
1. Remove the tracker from the paired devices list in the phone Bluetooth settings
2. Uninstall Fitbit app
3. Reboot the phone
4. Install Fitbit app and log in
5. Plug Versa into charging dock near your router
6. Set up Versa again by adding it as a replacement device
7. Make sure All day sync and Always Connected (Android) are enabled in the Fitbit app
8. Android users: Make sure Fitbit mobile app in not being optimized by OS in the Android Battery Settings
9. iPhone notifications: Make sure Fitbit Notifications are enabled in your phone Settings. If they are switch them off, sync, switch them back ON, and sync again. Please follow steps 1-3 from my post here to properly set up the notifications on your iPhone.
Repeat the above procedure several times if needed.

I don’t know guys. Today is not my day I’m super busy at work and I didn’t do all my walking.
The problem with the app is getting really upsetting. I update the app this morning with the new update and now I have another issue. My hourly activity is not synchronized properly. I’m not sure what to do. I delete the app restart my phone and the app telling me that I just walk 2 of my 10 hours.
App not working
Real hours at my versa

@Aboy6 It needs to sync to from Versa to the servers (via fitbit app) and then back. It takes a while. Actually, my hourly activity always refreshes extremely slowly in the app. Tap on the tile to go into the detailed view. Let it sync several times and tap again. It should appear after the sync is complete.

Nop.
Still just 2 hours and at this point I’m really frustrated. I know this is something little but, I feel every update is something new to mess up the app and not improved.
I will try a way how to downgrade the app and stick to that version. The battery is sucking up like crazy again yesterday at the moment of the pictures of my post I had 72% of battery I have 50% now.

Hiya! I tried the factory reset/uninstall steps. It didnt help my battery but it did help my heart rate tracker start working again. It had stopped a few weeks ago and I thought it was just me being a hard read.
I'm definitely thinking it's from an update. My bf has had a similar issue with his samsung watch a year ago, some new update had a battery draining issue. His took 6 months to get back to normal. At least mine is lasting a whole day to keep track of my steps and workouts. I cant track my sleep without it dying on me though.
Thanks for the help everyone! I'll just hold out until theres a solution for this issue. I'm past the warranty on a replacement so it's all I can do.
