I downloaded the latest firmware update on December 20th and now the battery on my Versa watch is not even lasting 30 hours. Prior to the update it was lasting about 6 days. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi, I installed your clock face to be certain that this face might be or not the cause of your battery problems. I noticed that the display is on a lot of time. How are your settings af this clock, what the update time. I you do not did the update set to 1 minute instead of every second, the display stays on all the time and thus might be the cause of your battery problems after updating. Therefore I would advice you to change the clock face and see if that solves your battery problem in the new Firmware version. If I might give you an advice, I would search for "Minimal Analog" clock face (clock faces - all clocks - type this in the search bar and it will be on top of the list on the left side. I use this face already for a very long time and as stated before, my battery status after almost 24 hours after updating in 91%. Just give it a try and keep me posted. Good luck.

You can try restarting it: restart

I tried restarting it yesterday but it is now still down over 50% in about 16 hours. Restarting did not help. 😞

Hi, could you tell a bit more about apps you're using, the setup of the new Today app, used and name of clock facde, etc. There are a lot of things that determine battery usage. I also did the update yesterday evening and as of now my battery is still 90%.

The Today app is just setup with the default settings. I haven't changed any of them. I haven't used any other apps. The clcok face I am using is called "True Elegance" which I have been using all along.

How about your clock ace? Are you using one of Fitbit itself or a "third party" clock face. If yes, what's the name of the clock? Go to the page with the clockfaces by pressing the Versa icon in your Fitbit app, press clock faces and it will show you your clock face and it's name.

I have the same issue - I kept finding it dead which never used to happen: dropped 60% to 20% overnight when I wasn't wearing it. I've cleaned, recharged, reset as advised but no noticeable change. Any advice?

I edited my previous post but in case you didn't see it, I am using the watch face "True Elegance" which I have been using all along.

Hi, just had a look at this clock face and do not think it's one of the causes of your terrible battery life. I would advice you to call Customer Support: https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs . Good luck.

See the main OS3.0 thread - quite a few people suffer from exactly the same problem, even with clean installs without any 3rd party apps. Fitbit is aware of it and trying to figure out what is causing this and how to fix it. I must assume it has pretty high visibility. You should let customer support know so that if they have some updates they can push it directly to known affected users.

Where do you see the battery percent on the Versa? I only see the percent when I connect it to the charger, otherwise, I just see the icon that isn't at all precise about how much battery is remaining.

Hi, you can see the battery % by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and you'll get the Today screen. On the upper left side if this screen is the battery%. Hope this helps.

I am having the same issue. I restarted and I reset to factory settings. Neither helped.

Thanks for the suggestion to change the clock face. I changed it on Sunday (the 23rd) and charged it to around 90%. It is now Friday the 28th and my watch is at 21% without charging again since. So my battery is back to normal! The clock face I am now using is called Minimal.

Hi, I use exactly the same Clock Face and my Versa last almost 6 days on one charge. Beautifull Clock Face, simple, yet versatile enough.
