Hi I had my first Versa for my birthday back in may if last year, by last November I was having to charge it every day and it would die before the day had ended, Fitbit were amazing and assisted with advice then a replacement. Happy days or so I thought 😞 my replacement arrive 16th of November 2018.

I noticed that last week my Versa battery was not lasting the original 3/4 days as when I first received it back in November, it was fully charged Monday evening by 8am Tuesday (today) it was on 5%??

Having been through this before I’m very well clued up on how to preserve battery life on the Versa, I contacted Fitbit via live chat very helpful  (would recommend this its fab) and did the same process as before so Fitbit can see my data and stats,

done this process today battery is draining just as fast will obvs contact support tomorrow .....

anyway my real question is... what’s next for my Versa or more to the point what will Fitbit do for a second time??? Both old and new Versa are only 8months old and of course still in warranty

any suggestions.

@Emsj44 After factory reset? If the problem persists after restoring Versa to factory defaults, I'm afraid you might have to reach out to Customer Service as you may need a replacement device.  Sorry I couldn't help more. Good luck.

@Emsj44 Which Versa's firmware version are you running? I am not entirely convinced all of the battery issues are actually hardware related. I would try performing factory reset just in case. Before factory reset, please charge your Versa for several hours. Factory reset will wipe your Versa, so please sync first. You will also need to delete your tracker from the Fitbit account (in the Fitbit mobile app) and your Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings. You can perform factory reset by going to Settings on your Versa, scrolling down to About and tapping Factory Reset. Once Versa resets to factory defaults, place it in a charger, and set it up again by adding it as a new device in the Fitbit mobile app. After setting up, please use all features, just stick to Fitbit original clockface. Report back on the battery life. Good luck!
