Battery short life and syncing issues.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The first issue (with this fitbit as opposed to the other i had to send back to fitbit) is the battery seems to last maybe 40 hrs. I dont let it touch water because i dont trust fitbit to handle anything beyond my sweat. I dont use the music/bluetooth function. The only function i use is the workout function and i turn it off after each workout. i thought a charge should last almost 4 days. 40 hrs is a friendly push for mine.  I just don't feel like exaggerating:)

I noticed the other day my clock is wrong. I now notice i can't sync to fix the time. Ive looked at these other posts for answers and have tried them. No luck.

I cant send this watch back because last time it took them 28 days. Over the holidays i was so close to cutting my losses and getting a discounted apple watch. When people comment on my watch, i always tell them how dissatisfied i am with it and the issues ive had. I resent apple's ridiculous price, but im hoping everyday that i find a quality minimalist watch within the fitbit price range.

Ive said this before, poor quality. By the way, my watch isnt even 6 months old. My first watch lasted 4 weeks.

Hello @NickG77, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, have you updated the firmware on your Versa recently? If you have and you're still having trouble syncing and the battery on your Versa is draining faster than usual, please restart it by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. Then monitor it for the next few days. If you're still having trouble, please try to set up your Versa as a new device to reset the connection between the Versa and your phone. Note that none of the information already stored in your account will be deleted.

To set up your Versa as a new device:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
  5. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.
