Battery short life

My Fitbit versa is 6 months old and the battery is dead within 12 hours.
I have shut everything off but it still dies by the end of the day. Useless to have a Fitbit when I can’t use anything on it.
Any suggestions? I have read and followed the instructions below.
Basically an almost 300$ watch that doesn’t make it through my full shift at work.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @JaneyBug. It's great to see you around, @NellyG

@NellyG thank you for your support!

@JaneyBug I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Versa's battery is draining faster than expected. Thank you for your troubleshooting efforts. I totally understand how you are feeling and in addition to the helpful recommendation provided by @NellyG, I suggest doing the following:

  1. Switch to a Fitbit clock face if you're using a third party clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
  2. Restart your device by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Charge the watch to 100% and use it like normal.

Please keep me posted, I'll be around.
