I recently updated to the new format in the Fitbit app and since I've done that my Versa dies after only a few hours. I fully charged it yesterday (left it in the charger for 3 hours) then put it on before bed. Within 20 minutes the battery was down to 76% and when I woke up this morning my watch was dead. I've had my Versa for 6 months now and it's always lasted 3 to 4 days. I can't help but think there's a correlation between the update and my battery dying. I've tried restarting it and I've tried turning most of the settings off (settings that have been working just fine for 6 months and not draining my battery).

@esheller Welcome! It's nice to have you on board!
Let me help you with your Versa's short battery life and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.
Let me know how it goes.
