Bike ride map on Fitbit App not showing up

After some of my bike rides when mapped using the GPS on my Versa 3 just show on the app as a single dot.

When I use a link to my storage place for recording (fetcheveryone.com) it works fine.  To me that points to the app having a bug and not reading the data it gets from the Versa.  Walks are fine and most bike rides.

Samsung S7, Android V8.0.0
