Bitmoji stuck at preparing to teleport

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I tried to update my bitmoji face on my Fitbit Versa to match my current outfit, etc. The watch face just had a spinning dotted circle and the app on my Galaxy S8 was just stuck at preparing to teleport. It would not budge after about an hour.

I've  reinstalled the app on my phone which didn't not make a difference. I also factory reset my Versa. No change again. I know I have/had all of my accounts properly linked as this was working previously.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Kpostel26. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the details of the difficulty you're experiencing with updating the Bitmoji clock face. Thank you for your efforts. Some clock faces may take a long time to update. I recommend connecting the watch to Wi-Fi when installing or updating the clock faces.

Keep your phone close to your watch during the process, and make sure the Fitbit app continues to run in the background. For more information, please see this help article: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Let me know how it goes.

Same done it on WiFi and off WiFi. Factory reset and all. It can load all other clock faces in less than five minutes but the bitmoji clock nada. Extremely frustrating since it is my favorite clock face and I am more reactive with the app when I use it. Please fix this huge error immediately.

I have an ionic and I am having the same problem.  I have tried EVERYTHING.  Obviously this is a common problem, will there be some kind of patch or something to fix this?

Another user suggested going into your phone bluetooth settings,
disconnecting versa, reconnecting it to bluetooth. I disconnected versa,
turned off bluetooth, rebooted my phone, turned bluetooth back on and
reconnected versa. It's been working great ever since.

I'm having the same problem: stuck on preparing to teleport the bitmoji clock face.

I tried updating all the apps, deleting and reinstalling the fitbit app and connecting the watch to wifi with no effect. Help?

I’m having the same issues with my Fitbit and bitmojie the past 4 days.  I’ve tried all the suggestion in this thread but none of them worked. I should I reset everything to factory settings? I’m not sure what to do.
