Black screen Versa on attempting to reset it

Folks,

Attempt to reset my fit it versa by doing the following steps that I found them on fit it community:

1. Holding the three buttons for 12 seconds

2. Once fit it logo appears release the bottom right button while continue holding the other 2

3. Continue holding the 2 buttons until vibration felt

 

One these steps completed, I got a black screen of death. Nothing shows up. The watch seems to be dead although leasr is working out at the back of watch. Attempts to recharge it fails to wake the fit bit versa up. Contacting customer service without a reply so far, any thoughts

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

Restarting the watch didn't work. The standard 2 buttons restart is not working

Contact Customer Support is the next thing to do and you say you have already tried.  If no answer, I would try again.
