Black screen on Fitbit versa

I have a black screen now on my Fitbit Bursa. I've charged it and still it won't turn on. It's been working fine. But not now. Can anyone let me know what I can do?

Yes if I go apple from motoZ I will get the watch too!
I'm so sorry I still haven't got my issue resolved, may call n sit on the
phone tomorrow.
Yes, you get a refurbish replacement unless you pay $$. And I think they
have a slight difference on the Fitbit this problem with one side mine is
the buckle side of band going on..
What's up with your band?
Now my back flex 2 won't sync I never see the blue light..I don't think
these things take 8 hrs/ week of water over 7 days!

My fit bit screen has gone black now too. Restarts did nothing. This I upsetting I really liked this model. I’m not going to spend another 200 to replace it

Well my 3 Rd one went black and I will be calling in the morning. After a
couple of months( not just this issue but life that kept me busy) and this
3 Rd one not fitting my original silicone gray band, I decided to use it
with a Fitbit limited band and wore it in water aerobics class twice a week
and it went black. I hoped it had gone battery dead, stuck it on charger,
it got hot. Now it had been more than 16 hrs after being wet, when I put on
charger

I think Fitbit knows the poor quality and needs to pony up!

Fitbit will replace it. Takes a few weeks but finally got mine back

All good 👍 hope that " all good" last longer than mine I am sending #3
back!
I don't think these are water proof, I instruct water aerobics and my hands
are in less than 3' ft of water...shower,
Waiting on Christmas holidays, and buying a Garmin.

I'm done with Fitbit.

             Call FitBit customer service and they will work with you. I had a similar issue and now they sending me a new one. The problem is in the software.

It’s not an issue of resetting or lighting. It is defect with the software.

You can't,  contact Fitbit, get it exchanged. Best fit

Oh dear, yet another one "bites the dust". You can't, if it black screens
and it is charged( put on charger take off in a few hours still black? It's
gone). If it's less than a year old contact customer service they will
send you another, and another ...I had mine exchanged 4 times. They have a
MAJOR quality issue.

I have a versa but had the cheaper Flex (3) of those worked great for two
years after a couple of Fitbit app updates they quit. I use in water
aerobics my hands are never more than 2-3 ft of water, supposed to be water
resistant up to 30 meters? Lot deeper than I could ever go.

Google bought Fitbit maybe the workers in manufacturing knew ahead of time
and sabotage the product...

Mine just got the black screen. Reset didn't work. This is the replacement they sent after the first lost it's face. Mine is totally dead as the app can't find it and the screen stays black when I try to charge.

The same thing is happening to me!!!!  I can feel it vibrate to remind me to move or to let me know I got a text message. But my screen is black and I can’t see anything at all. I’am ready to throw this verse away!!!!

Yes, I had a total of 4 replacements and they replaced the charger twice.
The Versa has some major quality issues. There are too many folks who have
had multiple replacements, until 1st of warranty ruins out, then you get to
pay for the refurbished crap. I truly think they sent me a brand new one
last time, but I need mine for water aerobics, and even though it states
water resistant to 30 meters, my arm is only in water of about 6-8 inches
and it goes bad...so I will use this one until I can get a Garmin.

We're you still within your one-year warranty on your original device?  I'm having the same problem and they are saying I have to purchase a new one since my one year is just past.

Yes I was still under warranty. I was so tired of the many problems that it now sits in a drawer and I bought an Apple Watch.

My versa 2 started to not move when I tapped the screen even after resetting it. It has finally started responding but I went for a run and without bumping into anything or opening it up to the wind half the screen has suddenly gone black. On the half I can see it works fine and I can tap the apps on the black half but I can’t see what I’m doing

My Fitbit Versa Lite’s screen when black. I read the comments from others who had similar experience and the resounding recommendation was to reach out to Fitbit and request a replacement. I did and got a replacement and so far so good.
